Our Founder & Story
Meet John Chong
Beekeeper with a Purpose
John aims to be an expert beekeeper, learning from Lesster Leow, a renowned beekeeper in Singapore and Rwanda. Through the B.E.S.T program, Lesster trained many on handling African killer bees safely, earning global recognition. Lesster also established a honey refinery in Singapore.
He also collaborates with Ground-Up Initiative, promoting eco-conscious education, and partners in Myanmar to support farmers through beekeeping.
In Singapore, John advocates for recognizing bees’ role as pollinators, emphasizing sustainability and their value to ecosystems and communities.
